Ms. Herrin joins the Oklahoma International Dance Festival and is also a faculty member at the University of Oklahoma School of Dance where she teaches ballet performance and pedagogy courses.
Prior to her work in Oklahoma, she was Program Coordinator for New Performing Arts, Inc. a not-for-profit education outreach organization based in Louisville, Kentucky, and Public Relations Manager for Kentucky Ballet Theatre.
Ms. Herrin danced professionally throughout the United States, has served as company teacher for Oklahoma City Ballet, Ballet Mistress for Oklahoma Festival Ballet, and is Coordinator of the OU School of Dance Youth Programs.
Her primary research is in the area of ballet pedagogy, and she is an ABT® Certified Teacher of Primary - Level 5 of the ABT® National Training Curriculum.
Ms. Herrin is a native of Washington state, but relocated to Oklahoma to participate in its vibrant arts community; she holds an MBA from the OU Michael F. Price College of Business.
