Guidelines for Choreography Submission

Length Requirements
Submissions exceeding the listed durations may be asked to edit the piece:

• Solo – up to 5 minutes

• Duet – up to 8 minutes

• Group – up to 12 minutes

Video Submission Requirements

• Upload your video to YouTube or Vimeo and include the link in your application.

• The video should clearly represent the full cast and intended performance version of the piece.

• Rehearsal footage is accepted; however, performance footage is preferred.

Submission Deadline for Video & Materials: June 30th, 2025

Adjudication Criteria

Choreographic submissions will be evaluated based on the following:

• Choreography – originality, structure, and clarity of intention

• Technique – embodiment and execution by the dancers

• Style – cohesion, musicality, and performance quality

Notification of acceptance will be sent by email within two weeks of submission.

Additional Information

• Professional video and photography of your performance will be available for purchase through OIDF for your personal archives.
