Alba Nadal

Spain/Germany

Alba Nadal was born in Zaragoza and brought up in Catalonia, first with Olga Roig in Manresa and later on at Institut del Teatre in Barcelona. She traveled to Madrid at the young age of twelve to continue with Victor Ullate and finished her formation at the Royal Ballet in London. From 2004 until today, she lived, worked, and danced at the Royal Danish Ballet for 14 seasons, later joined Badisches Staatstheater Karlsruhe (Germany) under the leadership of Bridget Breiner, where she danced as a soloist from 2019 until 2024.
Dance has always been the force that has driven her to all her adventures and get through life challenges. It is her element for constant research to keep growing in this art form and as a human being. Dance is love, the place where she is daily rediscovering herself and home to many feelings, struggles, and joy. “Home is where the heart is,” as she once heard from Ramon Mirabet’s song. Her heart, passion, and love have always been and are where dance is alive.
