Born in Santiago de Chile, Carla Castro,

ballet teacher, choreographer and designer, has worked with several Latino Americans companies as Ballet de Santiago y Ballet de Cámara del Teatro Municipal de Santiago - Chile, Ballet Nacional - Perú, Ballet de Cámara Clásico y Contemporáneo de Quito - Ecuador, Ballet Nacional SODRE - Uruguay, Ballet Clásico y Moderno del Teatro Municipal de Asunción - Paraguay, among others independent companies and ballet schools in Chile.

She was Jaime Pinto`s choreography assistant, collaborated with him in the creative process and staging of his classical and contemporary work as “Madame Butterfly”, “Don Quixote”, “The Nutcracker”, “Salomé”, “Snow White”, “The Beauty and the Beast”, “Viva Vivaldi” and the Paraguayan bicentenary commemorated ballet “Madama Lynch”.

More recently, she's been working at experimental plays to create new younger dance audiences.
